Training

At ESM, our customer service is at the core of everything we do. By providing our clients with high quality, responsive and timely service, our business has enjoyed more than 20 years of on-going success. In order to deliver an exceptional customer experience in all aspects of our service provision, the importance of ongoing training for our staff cannot be overstated.

Our employees are required to attend regular mandatory training sessions, both on-site at our premises and external accredited courses. For our onsite cleaning technicians, our training is particularly rigorous, and involves a 6 step program before beginning on-site work;

  • Induction – (Welcome to ESM, our Values and way of working)
  • Hazardous Material Handling and Safe Storage
  • National Competency Based Training
  • Customer Site Specific Training (and related inductions)
  • Toolbox Training
  • OH&S and Environmental Training

The safety of our staff and our clients is paramount, and we do not take shortcuts. Our cleaning staff are also required to undergo formal OH&S training, following which they must pass an assessment before they are allowed to undertake work.

At ESM, we ensure our staff and our policies are up to date with the latest legislation and Worksafe procedures.

Equipment

The saying “tools are only as good as the person using them” is very relevant in our industry, and this is the reason our cleaning staff are required to undergo thorough training before commencing work.

Not all tools are created equal. As a national service provider, when we re-stock our supplies or upgrade our equipment the investment is significant, and all our products and equipment must undergo a comprehensive evaluation before any purchases are made. Where possible, we try to buy Australian products. As an Australian company, we believe in supporting our local economy; additionally Australian equipment must adhere to strict manufacturing standards, resulting in a higher quality product. While cheaper equipment may look better at purchasing stage to the company bottom line, costs can start adding up if technical issues arise, and there is difficulty in obtaining spare parts.

Our careful evaluation process means we invest in quality equipment, resulting in a high quality clean and less machinery downtime.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”594″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
